New IT Resource Joins the Digital Preservation Team

The National Library of Norway has appointed Jøran Henriksen as Senior Application Developer in the Digital Preservation Team.

For the team, this means that the four existing IT specialists are now joined by another experienced application developer.

Jøran joins us from his position as Senior Systems Developer at The Coring Company. He also has previous experience from the National Library of Norway. From 2023 to 2025, he worked as a Senior Systems Developer, contributing to the development of software for the production and delivery of audio and audiovisual material for digital preservation.

Now, Jøran will be working on the receiving side of the preservation process and will become an important resource in the development of solutions for the long-term preservation of the National Library of Norway’s digital collections.
